I began quilting for my own enjoyment and pleasure, and to gift quilts to those I love dearly. I love the whole process of selecting amazing fabrics, designing, piecing blocks, and quilting each one into a fabulous piece to be treasured for years to come. As people started seeing my quilts, the designs, fabric choices, and great attention to detail that is so important to me, I began getting requests for these quilts as well as custom order quilts. This was a perfect path for me, to bring my passion for quilting to people who would receive great enjoyment from them...and this is how comfort and joy handmade was launched. I understand that my quilts will not bring about world peace!...but I believe they can bring a little peace and tranquility into your life...I truly believe that there is something special and unique about wrapping up in the comfort and joy of one of my scrumptious quilts, which delights the senses and feeds the soul.
